The Perfect Rosh Hashanah Dinner

Monday, September 26, 2011 by Nilani Trent

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, will begin this Wednesday, September 28, at sundown. One of the best parts of the holiday is no doubt the celebratory meal we all share together. Not sure what to make this year for your friends and family? Follow our quick and easy holiday meal guidelines.

Start your holiday off the right way with Sage Chicken Liver pate. It might take a little bit longer to make chicken liver pate then it would be to, say, buy it  but it's definitely worth it.

For your main course this New Year, we suggest you serve a gorgeous brisket . Brisket is always a great holiday main, your guests are sure to be pleased when you take this beautiful piece of meat out of the oven. Serve with honeyed carrots and stuffed cabbage.

For dessert, we suggest making a delicious Apple Cake - the perfect ending to your holiday meal! Apple cakes are rich, full of fall flavor, and incredibly easy to make.

Most importantly, remember to enjoy your nearest and dearest during this great holiday!
